Understanding and Creating Data Visualizations Online

This workshop will cover the topics of how to find, read, and cite data visualizations, as well as provide an introduction on how to start creating your own data visualization for academic purposes. This hands-on introduction will include where to find data, tips on crafting a visual narrative, how to choose the right visualization tool for your needs, and how to create visualizations with accessibility and equity in mind.
