Creating Digital Online Publications with Scalar
Presenter: Anna St.Onge
Curious about your options for creating long-form born-digital narratives online? This workshop will introduce you to the open source authoring and publishing platform Scalar and provide an overview to basic functionality and provide a supportive atmosphere where participants can experiment with building online narratives using the tool.
Topics covered will include:
- How to create a project and import content
- Understanding how Scalar conceptualizes content
- Creating paths and tags in Scalar
- Annotation, layout and widgets
