Presenter: Ted Belke

Learn to create your own 3D models for printing using free and open-source software, SolveSpace. An overview of the software and step-by-step instruction will provide a gentle introduction to 3D design techniques, so no previous experience is required.

This workshop is part of a series previewing the exciting new library spaces at the Markham Campus Library. You can learn more about the new spaces below.

About the Markham Campus Library
The Immersive Spaces at Markham Campus Library will offer equitable access to library expertise, media creation, gaming, virtual reality, and critical making. Spaces and equipment include audio and video recording tools, Media Creation Studios, Editing Suites, and workstations with software for digital media production. A Gaming Lab will provide virtual reality, console, and PC gaming experiences in a single dynamic, configurable space. Students and faculty may experiment with fabrication equipment, textiles, electronics, and robotics in the Makerspace, which is designed as a teaching environment and can accommodate in-class learning.
