Zotero advanced tips and tricks

Zotero advanced tips and tricks Online

Presenter: William Denton & Anna St.Onge

Zotero is a free, open source tool to manage and track bibliographic citations. This series of live workshops are designed to take participants beyond the basics of using Zotero to having it serve as a fully-fledged research partner.

Some areas to be covered include using Zotero’s “Library lookup” feature to locate material in the York University catalogue; using Zotero to track your own publications; importing existing citation lists into Zotero; and using Zotero to find "free" alternatives to subscription and paid content.

This is the last in a series of five Zotero workshops. This workshop will also offered on Wednesday March 13 2:00-3:00.

There will also be a Zotero tune-up workshop on Tuesday April 16 10:30-12:30.

self-paced online learning module is also available on the Libraries' website.
