Capturing Sound: Introduction to Field Recording

An introduction to the world of field recording using Zoom handheld digital audio recorders. Learn essential recording techniques, file management, and creative uses for found sounds in music, podcasts, and ambient soundscapes. As a bonus, participants will build their own contact microphone to keep! This workshop is suitable for budding sound enthusiasts, musicians, and podcasters alike. No previous audio recording experience required.
