Web Publishing with WordPress

Learn the fundamentals of World Wide Web concepts, including how front-end coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) interact with back-end ones. This workshop will involve setting up a blog using WordPress, the most popular site platform on the web. Topics will include image editing and accessibility considerations. Workstations will be provided. Please note that York University Libraries does not offer Wordpress website hosting; interested participants can get a basic, free account to create a site on Wordpress.com.
