Academic Integrity: Learn to Stop Worrying About It! Online

In this interactive workshop you will learn what academic integrity is at York and how you can demonstrate it. Through scenarios, you will identify different types of academic misconduct that can occur in student work,  learn how you can practice academic integrity effectively  and find out where you can get more support. Additionally, this workshop will help increase your confidence when it comes to using sources and citing. Citation is about more than knowing where to add your commas; instead, it prepares you to be an active participant in conversations within your scholarly community and in your professional career. Throughout the workshop, we will share current, scenario-based information, including recent new scenarios that focus on expectations around AI use, that will help you navigate these topics successfully and provide you with a safe space where you can have your questions about academic integrity answered and connect with other students on this topic.
