Researching with Virtual Reality: An Exploration of Methodological Affordances and Some Considerations
Presenter: Jason Tham
In this presentation and workshop, Dr. Jason Tham (associate professor, Texas Tech University) will discuss research methods and collaborations behind recent virtual reality projects. As writing technology constantly evolves, the integration of immersive tools like virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) holds promise for expanding research initiatives and programs that value digital writing. After Tham's presentation, attendees will have time to demo VR headsets and environments.
