Join us in conversation. Beyond the Page is a relaxed gathering open to all of York community members. Throughout this series we will be discussing a variety of Indigenous materials such as novels, short stories, letters and films. This month our featured resource is A Steady Brightness of Being : truths, wisdom, and love from celebrated Indigenous voices. This collection brings together deeply personal letters from Indigenous writers, activists, and thinkers to their ancestors, “Bringing together voices from across Turtle Island, a groundbreaking collection of letters from Indigenous writers, activists, and thinkers—to their ancestors, to future generations, and to themselves.”
