How to Book

  1. In the table below, identify which group study room you would like to book
  2. In the row, click on a green square in the calendar to select the start time of the booking.
  3. Use the drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen to confirm the length of the booking.
  4. Click “Submit Times”.
  5. Log in with your Passport York
  6. Read the Terms and Conditions. If you agree to them, click “Continue”.
  7. Review the booking details and click “Submit my booking”. You’ll receive an email confirming your booking & details.
  8. When you arrive at the library, check-in online using the code you receive – this can be done by scanning the QR code at your designated room or directly via your email link
  9. When leaving, make sure to check out by scanning the QR code at your designated room.

Things to Know Before You Visit:

  • You will be required to check in and out of the seat using the displayed QR code or through the confirmation email or risk losing your booking. 
  • Minimum 2 people in a group study room.  Individuals using a group study room will be asked to leave.
  • No food or drink is allowed.
  • Individual spaces may be booked up to one week in advance of the desired booking time.
  • Once you’ve pre-booked or been assigned a group study room through checking-in, you may not switch to another room
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, your booking will cancel automatically
  • Group study rooms have a 3hr max booking period.
